In the School of Education, we are committed to the advancement of knowledge and its application in all fields of education. Our teaching and research are based on the belief that educational theory and practice are inextricably linked. Our teaching is informed by the latest developments and debates in educational theory and our staff includes published authors who have written extensively in their areas of expertise. The work we do is supported and underpinned by funded research and development projects with schools, educational organisations, and other universities in Lincolnshire and around the world.
The School offers a range of Master’s and Doctoral programmes for educational professionals and researchers. We work with academics and practitioners from across the education sector, and we offer School Centered Initial Teacher Training programmes in conjunction with St Georges Academy Partnership, (both Primary and Secondary) and the Lincolnshire Teaching School Alliance.
